The exhaust valves seen some chamber work to unshroud them to allow more space around the valve for better airflow. Didn't see the need to do the intake 2.19" O.S. valves, if they was larger the chamber wall...

    The motor I'm building in the last few photos is not my motor, it's going into a 1962 C-10 .. My motor that's also under construction will be built very close to how the C-10 496" is being built .. Same stroke, little larger bore .. ... 500 cubes ... Hadn't had the time to work on my stuff...
