I would still bring it to Best buy. Worst that can happen is they say that you have no warranty. :dunno:
Its worth the trip over there to see if they will fix it.
I assure you, if you bought a Viper online then it was NOT from an authorized dealer. Viper does not allow its dealers to sell online. If you are sure they said authorized dealer then perhaps they might actually be an authorized dealer, and they are breaking Viper's rule about selling online...
Whatever you do, do NOT buy a remote from Midwest Keyless. They sell on eBay under the name your remote, and a few others that I can't recall. Those people are crooks.
Vipers come with a LIFETIME warranty on both parts and the installation, but ONLY if you bought it installed
from an authorized dealer such as Best Buy. I would bring it in and make them fix it.
From what you describe, the alarm antenna might be going bad.
If you got the fan plugs/pigtails with your fan, then you can make your own harness using the wiring diagram I posted in the beginning of the thread. I would use 40 amp relays and 10 gauge wiring.
The next Fort Worth BlackBear meet should be in the spring. I was there last March for a retune. I was talking for a while with Justin and we got to talking about his tune meets and how often he does them. He said DFW is one his biggest moneymaking places, so he tries to go at least twice a...
You also need to watch out for cars like that being stolen. People buy a wrecked car at auction and put the VIN on a stolen car of the same model. Some warning signs of a car being stolen (if it has a salvage or reconstructed title) is if the color listed on the title doesn't match the color of...

So if its...
Yep. Powder coating is expensive, Plasti-dip is cheap. I have seen a few Camaros with black OEM wheels and it looks awesome on a black car. That's why I suggested it. :dunno:
And the good thing about plasti-dip is if you don't like it, you can just peel it off.
And someone on GMT posted...
I noticed yesterday that I have oil seeping from the oil pan gasket now.
Is there a write up anywhere on replacing the gasket? Its a 2001 Chevy with a 5.3 engine.
And does the transmission need to come out or moved back some?
No such thing as Auto Dimming on a passenger side mirror. That is only on the rear view and drivers side mirrors.
Do you have the power folding feature? Look in your glove box for the "DL3" option code. If so, I actually have one that I'd sell for $100. I bought it to convert my truck to...
