Got this in an email yesterday. I think it's stupid. They brought the power down from 470hp to 410. The 5.7 has 395hp. The torque difference is only gonna be about 20lbs or so different too. More money for nothing but more fuel consumption.

Buy a special plate in Louisiana and its lifetime. You just transfer from vehicle to vehicle. If you get a standard plate you have to turn it in once you get rid of the vehicle. It will probably save me money.

When I had my dodge and was on dodge forums, they had websites just for dodges. The sites had performance parts, and all aftermarket parts. Anyone know a site just for Chevys? Or if they have any?

I don think they understand how played out the new stock rims are on this style truck down here. Every high school kid with a Chevy has these rims down here.

I might even go with smaller than 18's. I'm wanting to build my truck to be able to haul some ass. I know I have the 4.3 right now but I don't want to have to buy wheels again when I do a swap. I want to do as much as I can to accommodate the swap before I do it. Gears, hell even traction bars...
