Already have a problem with the initial plan.. I have an engine stand and engine hoist but the hoist I have is only rated for the engine and not the engine and transmission so I either have to find a hoist that can handle it or separate them.

My engine started burning oil and the intake gasket is blown... I was think about selling the truck instead of rebuilding the 4.3 untill my cousin totaled his 2000 1500 with the 5.3. I'm thinking about taking my engine and transmission out and sticking his in. I have a week to do my research...
Unless things have changed that much I could get the gears (front and back) for $1,000 as a kit. Shops here charge $300 per Or $500 to install both. Gear swap= $1500....

Dad bought his second cushman. This one having 4 wheels! It has a 2.0 and a two speed. We plan on restoring it although it's in pretty good condition. Anyone ever own or see one of these?

I could have cleaned it for a better picture. The only reason I'm considering painting them is cause the rims really aren't in the best condition. They aren't scratched but they look scratched. It's hard to explain. I'll take a closer picture.
