What Did You Do To Your Truck Today? v2.0

With a couple of 14 gauge wires that are used in house wiring. Positive to positive and negative to negative. I was impressed because his truck battery wouldn't even turn the engine and as soon as I hooked up the DeWalt battery to his truck battery it fired right up once he turned the key.

I was just being a smart ass about the beer keg. I wouldn't want to coordinate into this build either.

What Did You Do To Your Truck Today? v2.0

Jump started my buddies truck using a DeWalt power tool battery. Neither of us had jumper cables, and I heard that this works. It fired right up. I was a bit impressed to say the least.

What Did You Do To Your Truck Today? v2.0

Some sort of pinstripe accent might look good on those fenders after you get it all painted up. Especially if you were to paint it black. My memory tells me you're painting it red.

How MUCH is gas in your area?

These damn gas prices are on a teeter totter. They jump up and down on what seems like a daily basis. They're ranging anywhere from $2.63 to $3.05 around here. I've seen the prices jump $0.70 in a day.

What Did You Do To Your Truck Today? v2.0

I cleaned the throttle body and MAF sensor. I'm also putting on new breather hoses for the pcv "orifice" bullshit. I replaced the dirty air hose, but had to order another clean air from RA due to the fact I had no idea where the one I had went. I also ordered a couple of Wix oil filters and an...

    300,000 mile club

It is the first vehicle I've had that reached 300K. As long as I'm able to keep up maintenance on it I think I will get a lot more miles out of the pig. :fingersx:

Ken's right. It's a 2011 Silverado 2500HD with the 6.0L and the 6L90 transmission. The pig now has 300,027 miles on it.

    300,000 mile club

I'll hit this milestone on my way home from work today. :chevy: All I've done is normal maintenance and changed the oil every 5,000 miles. I did have the transmission tuned to get rid of the TC shudder. I also have the pig oil sprayed every October and there's no rust. Hopefully she'll serve me...
