Well finally found a motor that was worth the effort to put in the truck. and to everyones pleasure its a 460 7.5 the motor is running and comes complete, with the exception of the carb and headers. Its a really good price $200 and can hear it running then he is removing the car and headers...

this build has been sitting for the last 2 months. Im working 50 hour weeks and still cant even break even on bills. Im trying to get her running but its just very draining.

Honestly if you are like any other lifted truck driver that i have ever met, one you get it lifted you will always want to go higher. So i dont mean in offense when i say this but i highly doubt you will ever want to take that body lift off. They are a PITA to install and VERY time consuming ive...

You are correct suspension lifts are normally alot easier to do, but there is absolutely nothing HARD about a body lift. Just very time consuming. I have one on my truck and love it, it gives me extra room to work on the motor or even the transmission (dont ask :fume:) Im glad you are taking...

I really dont need the extra stroke of the 400, i probably wouldnt ever use it so the 377 torque curve would be better for my needs. Not exactly sure whats all done to the motor in the video but it sounds simply amazing.

Im not wanting to spin it to 8k rpms... just need something that doesnt red-line at 3k.... like the 4bt. I would perferr something that would rev to 6k easily just to be safe. I dont plan on reving it past 4-4.5k at all. Ive heard really good things about the 383 stroker, plus i dont want...
