I have no idea how to disable it, unless you can do it in the DIC. With what you just described I'd bet it's the AFM. Good luck!
Does this truck have the AFM? If so, disable it and see if the problem goes away...just a thought. :dunno:
I'm with Jarrod on this one. I'm betting on it being the carrier bearing if you have a 2 piece shaft.
