Shifting into and out of 4hi is fine. I think if I can find out why the indicator won't indicate neutral I'd have it licked. I thought it might be an alignment thing since the backup lights won't work unless the shifter comes up from drive.

I'll do some research on it unless you are like me and have already researched it to death.

Thanks for the replies. It is in neutral when attempting to shift to 4Low, the backing up I described was simply rolling backwards in neutral. The truck is not making any mechanical attempt to shift to 4 low. It's acting as though it's still in drive and the 4 low indicator continues to flash...
