I have a '95 much like yours and have dealt with similar issues in the past.I tow a 24' toy hauler on occasion and needed the brakes to be at their best.Check for codes and we can go from there.Bad brakes are no joke especially when they have to stop a big,heavy 3/4t. Suburban.

Have you ever checked trouble codes when the Check Engine light is on by jumping terminals A & B by counting the flashes? You can do the same thing by jumping A & H and counting the flashes of the ABS light.Of course this is after you've located the ALDL connector :D Connect A & H before you...
