Alright gentlemen here is the deal on 0449 code. It costs $80 to fix the problem and you can change the part yourself and disconnect the terminal on the battery to clear the code when you are done. The part number is 25932571, they'll tell you its a part for a Suburban (bull). It's the same...

My AC or heater fun isn't working at all. What could be the problem?

The original EVAP solenoid costs $28b and the hose costs $55. You'll find it at any Chevy or GM dealership.

If your engine light comes on and you get the P0449 code. All you need to do is change the EVAP Solenoid and the hose that leads to the gas tank. Do not buy the solenoid that the dealer recommends buy the original solenoid, I will post the pictures soon. This is for a 2006 Chevy Silverado.
