Alright I think I have a few spare minutes to share some of the pics and story from Saturday nights Blast To The Past After Hours meet. Most of you already saw Dustbunny's video, there was a big turnout of cars, 768 to be exact!
The wife and daughter drove down to Katy Friday night to spend the weekend with me and do the show, it was their first time to attend a show with me. They are hooked now and planning to have them along for a few more this season.
We started setting up at 2pm and were ready to go by 4pm, gates didn't open until around 7pm but there was a stream of early birds coming in.
Cooling off:
My guest for the show was Thomas De Leon and his '98 Chevy Silverado.
Got a phone car from my buddy Matt about 5:30, said he was leaving another show and headed my way to hang out and show some support. So he rolled in with his dually and drew a huge crowd when he backed in next to the booth.
Another buddy, Scott, was following along in his '57 Caddy.
All in all it was a great show, stayed busy, had my family with me and had some good friends come out to hang. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday night. Now enough rambling, here's some more pics.
