Just was wondering who owns what in the way of 2 cycle lawn equipment and what is your flavor of 2 cycle oil mix to use? Plus just curious as to what is your favorite brand of equipment.

I have been using Saber 2 cycle mix at 100:1 for over ten years now in my Kawasaki string trimmer. I also run it in my Echo vac/blower and Sthil chain saw.

Husqvarna for me! :D

I am generally not too picky with 2-cycle oil as long as it's a name brand. I won't buy the generic stuff but I'll use just about anything otherwise. I've never had a problem.

That said, as I get older and buy more expensive equipment, I probably ought to think it through. This thread might do me some good.

Thanks, Nick.

Tobias, the Saber 2 cycle oil is awesome. I have had so many customers that have tried it come back for more and will not change. They love the faster starting and smokeless operation. My Kawasaki string trimmer has been getting a workout now that I have been doing my father-in-laws yard. He has just under 5 acres and a ton of fence line to trim. Plus a creek bank that I run it wide open on. It comes in a pillow pack (similar to ketchup packs at fast food places) for easy dispensing. Just open it and put in a gallon gas jug and fill with a gallon of gas and you are good to go. Plus one mix works in every 2 cycle. No more needing a can for 50:1 and one can for 42:1 mix equipment.

It's not heaven . . . it's Iowa!
I have my Stihl leaf blower, and will be buying a Stihl weed eater some time. I bought the bottle from them and am almost done with the fuel mix. I may have to give this a try, I've been meaning to order some oil from you too :ohnoes:

Husqi! I have the same whacker as T, and the Rancher saw. If I could still get a Husqi 2 stroke mower, I would get it

I use Stihl synthetic 2 cycle oil. My dealer always recommended it, and told me as long as I used it he would always warranty my Husqvarnas :D2

EDIT: Nick, when I run out, I will definitely include the Amsoil stuff in my next pick-up at the warehouse.

I would have voted but I can't select multiple brands....

I have/have had(Some things were stolen last summer)

Honda's that were 4 stroke so they did not require mix... I didn't recall Honda making 2 stoke Weed eaters or Edgers...

Stihl Edger's, Weed eaters, blowers and chainsaws.

Husqvarna chainsaw and we had a curved shaft weed eater

Echo Vaccum

Shindaiwa hedge trimming shears.

I go through 2 cases of Saber a season... Need to buy more!
