I really have to question their decision to put a couple 4 bangers with ~200 hp in a 3800# car and try to charge $30-40k while calling it a flagship. :dunno: The 3.6 v6 ought to be a very good fit though. I also still find some of the styling a bit awkward, especially the trunk line in the rear 3/4 view. The steering wheel is also ugly IMO. I am sure it will sell and GM will do fine with it, but I don't think it will be a game-changer.

If they are the same 4-cylinders going in the ATS, then they produce closer to 270 HP.

I agree with Wayne on the styling weirdness but that shot is the best I've seen yet. I think the ass-end not being up in the damn air so high would make it look much better.

The steering wheel looks like the Geico Gecko smiling at me.

EDIT: Just read the article. Those 4-bangers blow.

It's not that I don't like it, I just don't think it is anything groundbreaking. If GM is going to come out with a "flagship" it should be something truly innovative. If I was looking for a bread and butter sedan for my wife (and it didn't cost $30k+) I would surely look at an Impala.

Understood. It does have a 300+ HP option at least.

Yeah, the 3.6 will be a very nice fit for that car!

Nice car but the wood inside kills it.

I really wish plasti-wood trim would die a slow, painful death.
