And use anti-seize on the threads of the compressors. Or motor oil.

That's nice but it's gonna take up some serious space for something you will so rarely use.

The only spring compressor advice I have to offer is be fwonking careful! I've seen one "let go" suddenly and it scared the crap out of me when that spring took a chunk out of a concrete wall. And no, I wasn't the guy using it. I was the shop manager. The guy using it was our senior mechanic with 15+ years experience. Fortunately, no one got hurt.
