My Dad bought a new 69 Chevy when I was a little kid. It had a steel bed.

Wood floors in those trucks do look good! I think the fleetsides came with steel beds and the stepsides had wood... IIRC.

My 70 had steel too. I think a nice wood kit back there would have set it off.

I used to have a 72 C20 fleetside that had wood in the bed. It was also designated as a Camper Special.
