I would recommend the Michelin Primacy ......
they are quiet running tires... last forever, grip well and are good in the rain.

Little more than I am wanting to spend.

I know they are kinda pricey... but...
There are only 4 little spots of rubber, the size of the palm of your hand, between her and the road....
The Michelin will last a really long time without needing to be replaced... maybe as much as 60,000 miles or more.

I always put GOOD TIRES on my vehicles....

I seem to have a lot less tire trouble ... flats and early wearing out... when I do...
I am currently running "V" rated, Yokohama ADVAN S4 on the Cadillac... the only reason it don't have Michelin on it, is they are / were not available in my size.

I agree with you on your logic, I just can't afford them right now.

I was trying to keep it on the lower cost for you. How many miles does she put on the vehicle a year?

I'm not really sure. :dunno: I found some hankook v2's for 99 a piece. :dunno:

I was wondering because if she doesn't put the miles on then no need for an expensive tire. The Fuzions on my jetta have been great and they were $40 a tire back 4yrs ago. Still have great thread life and have about 50k on them. The see mostly hwy use.

Well I just ordered these, hopefully they will last her a little while. Got them for $99.00 a piece through discount tire.

Well went to get the tires put on today and was told they didn't have them. I was pissed, but I have to say Discount tire is awesome. They gave me the fuzions for the same price and knocked off money on the free replacement warrenty for life. Can't go wrong, better tires for the same price.
