One of our job sites was in NC a few years back. They got 2" of snow and ice and the whole plant (and even town) was shut down for damn near a week.
Yup, anything over an inch down here justifies for "blizzard of the" billing.

Nah, it's just southerners losing their shit over a little snow on the roads. They'll buy all the bread and milk up if there's a possibility of snow. They've been like that here since I've been old enough to remember. I think it's funny, I usually buy case of beer, damn the milk.
I bought some fishing gear at amazing clearance prices (like 75% off) because nobody was on that side of wally world besides employees. Plentiful bounty even though the food was gone.
I had a blast when it iced. I put a little over 100 miles on the truck. My tires are down to 1/3 tread (already
