Well,

I am selling my truck tomorrow and have been driving a car daily since I moved into my new house.

It all started when I was hired by UTEP(central part of El Paso) in November and my new home was going to be about 28 miles away.

I started doing the math and quickly found out that driving my truck everyday was going to get me nowhere quick financially since I don't make that much money (yet) at UTEP.

So my dad brought it up one day that he had a manual Honda Accord. He had bought it on the real cheap with a motor on it's last leg.

He owns a shop that specializes in CV joints and Rack & Pinions but they also do other stuff as well.

He told me he already had a motor for it but it was from a '98 Accord. He said he opened it up and it was quite obvious that the motor had been serviced at Honda its entire life.

He said if I wanted it I could have it as his gift to me. I said yes of course this sounds like a great car. He said only one thing...it's pretty fWONking ugly...

I said fWONk it I need a reliable and efficient mode of transportation so that is fine. He said...you don't understand...it's REALLY fWONking ugly...

He bought it of some "homie" and it was typically lowered to the pavement with blown shocks and 17" RIMZZZZZ.

He said give me some time and I will have it ready for you to at least drive it and see if you like it. (I knew I would like it because my first car ever was a 1997 Acura Integra)

He bought new shocks, stock wheels, and stock springs. New tires and got rid of a horrible intake it had that was annoying as shit.

Put the "new motor" in. This is officially a swap because the car is a 94 which means no OBDII. My dad has done a few swaps before so he got it in and running.

Then I got to drive it and see how I liked it. The original F22a1 is fine and dandy but the motor my dad put in is an F23a1 so it is a tiny bit better.

The car itself is great and love driving it. Handles great and is a very fun car because of the manual trans. First tanks I averaged 25.6 mpg which was fine but I knew it could do better. Second tank shot up to 28.4 mpg without doing anything to the car.

Now I really liked the car so now my dad is asking me to give it back for at least a week so he can paint it detail it and tint it. This is why he said it was fWONking ugly

Behold my daily driven 1994 Honda Accord EX aka The Transformer...
