Opinions on roof rack/baskets

Roof racks/baskets; Whichever they're called. I've been tossing the idea of one quite some time now. I have some spare cash, and think its time to decide before i blow it on something else. I plan to mount it to the shell, and add some bracing inside. I intend to possibly throw a full size, matching spare up top, but not till i have my final decision on lifting the truck or not. Plus a spot for a few lights, or whatever.

Opinions?

That bull bar looks photoshopped. I think the roof rack looks ok and I would add it for utility purposes. I wouldn't put any lights on it though.

on your cap it would be BA.....then add a 50in rigid light bar on the front and cut the deflector on the front where the light bar will fit under it or on top of it but not stick out, then remount the deflector. and put some duallys on the rear.

Was somewhat my plan Jarrett. I'm not wanting huge bulky lights if i added any. But they cost a ton of cash as well.

And i kinda see it as cosmetics i guess. Not saying i wont ever not use it. Just looking at ideas i've had.

If i had to do my lights over again, I would have waited till I could get a LED light bar. better than all of my lights put together.

Yea, im already pricing them out. But wanting to do some major work to the other truck kinda has me torn right now. Plus tossing around pulling the shell off all together again, as the look is growing stale to me.

Check out the Rola Rack... got mine from etrailers. Not a fan of the Rage rack... seen them in person and they're a bit flimsy looking.
