Re: Wheels - Time for some changes

But there are also some interesting new wheels coming out. These aren't that new, just new to me.

Pro Comp 7033
The bolts almost look like mini spikes on the Jeep. These look good smaller too, maybe an 18 would look decent.

I like black wheels with some silver trim. I can't stand all black wheels on most vehicles.

Those work with that wheel to tire ratio just fine! That would make your truck look twice as tough.

I wonder how 18's or 20's would look with 35" Toyo Mudders.

Most pics i have found online are of Tacomas with street tires. The tire chosen affects the look of a wheel dramatically.

Obviously, swap the bolts for some stainless alan or triplesquare bolts or something.

^That looks like a bad cad drawing, it also appears to have a bead lock ring, which is why they are showing grade 8 bolts in that pic you posted. They look a lot different than the below Method wheel I gave a long hard look to 2-3 months ago, I prefer less spokes and longer spokes in the below wheel. I stil like this wheel a lot and have seen it on a black HD silverado on gmfs and it looked good.

I like how these other Pro Comp wheels look too. I actually like the countersunk large shiny bolts on this one.

The Duramax I was just talking about with the Method wheels. I just didn't want to get this wheel since this guy already had them on an all black truck.

Re: Wheels - Time for some changes

Just checked that method wheel on their site you posted Tobias, it only comes in 15-17 sizes, where as the 301 I posted does obviously come in a 20.

I was thinking about that method wheel and adding a beadlock ring and have it anodized in the same exact copper as my coilovers for a unique look. I found a few companies that will cut custom beadlock rings, hell I could probably have that waterjet company make some for me too.
