Sweet! Hope the front end stays together for you. My dad has that gen and had replaced everything upfront, not to mention the tranny he has replaced also. But his is a 3/4 ton too.

The GMC has 230000 miles on a 305, is smoking like a fiend, and literally falling apart. The final straw was when the alternator took a crap yesterday.
