Found this on craigslist:
http://austin.craigslist.org/pts/2662979698.html

If (and I mean BIG if) this motor is up to my standards, I have the following questions for my swap:

1) Converting from Cable Driven Throttle Body to Electronic - some have said that I have to swap only the current manifold onto the new engine (personally I would go with a either a higher flowing manifold or put a twin screw on). Others have told me that I would have to make sure that I have to match the TAC and pedal for the 6.0. Which one is correct?

2) Transmission wiring - Will I have to use any extensions or adapters with a 4L70E that I am considering as well?

3) Any Tips or Issues that may come up besides the above noted?

Thanks fellas.

Make sure you send Dan a PM, Mike. He is good with this, and Carl (CJ_Hungus) will likely know as well.

I am no expert but....
1) You will have to swap intakes. I would go with a TBSS or a Gmt-900 intake/throttlebody. The only reason you would have to swap pedals is if you were going from a cable driven to a DBW setup. You already have a DBW so no need.
2) I don't think you have to have any adapters for your transmission. a 4l70e is essentially the same transmission. The transmission should bolt up but I believe the 4L80e flywheel had a different bolt pattern.
3) Just look at Dan's swap thread plus I would head on over to Performancetrucks.net and read up. This is a very common swap and people have done it a bazillion times.
