This would be a tough decision for me. I like both for different reasons. I haven't driven one but I hear the wrx handles amazing but is a little firm for a daily driver.

The new mustangs are badass but ford interior just doesn't do it for me. That being said I could overlook that if the power/handling fit the bill.

I have always had a thing for the wrx though.

Yeah, I can come up with scenarios where the WRX STi would probably win out over the Mustang.. But, most of them don't involve Texas..

OK.

Went looking. The Mustang is cool. I love the styling. It makes nice noises. It has stump pulling power... but the Subaru handles like a cat on carpet, has unbelievably amazing brakes, and runs as if it is powered by a rocket. It also has a hatch with space and four doors... Also looked at Camaro, but the Mustang beats it hands down.

Advantage: Subaru.

Problem is nobody has any stock. Local Subaru guy says he has one coming in around 28th of October (it's even in the color we liked), so we'll just have to wait and see.

I know my Outback handles nothing like an Impreza.. much less a WRX or a WRX STi.. But, after upgrading the rear sway bar and adding that front strut tower brace, my Outback handles TONS better than it did when I bought it.. I can only imagine what lowering it several inches and putting an even stiffer suspension under it would do. (Not that either of those things will ever happen to this car.)

Could not agree more.

Before my gf bought her Lexus. We looked at both the new 5.0 (Dealer only had one at the time) and the camaro. I did not like the Camaro to be honest.

I think the 5.0 is an awesome but there is just something about an STi that is just cool.

You betcha
I like the forester XT 2.5 my buddy has. It's essentially a WRX 240hp. Sonofafucker is on rails with his rally wheels and tires.

People who have not experienced a WRX simply do not understand what a monster they are. Second gear pulls like a pro stock car and the handling is nothing short of amazing.
