It's not like they have any competition...why put spend a lot of money? I was hoping for more though, especially on the interior that was suppose dot be new. Not the old interior with a new radio and the steering wheel from a 4runner. I'm guessing it will also included the updated V6, now with 270hp instead of 236 thanks to VVT on both cams instead of just one.

Not much change is necessary when you have the best selling mid size truck out there by a HUGE margin.

It's always been in a class of it's own in my opinion. Especially since it has the most Hp and worse gas mileage than most of the half tons especially in the TRD offroad models... I feel like it's a little bigger than Ford and Chevy's mid/smaller trucks....

It also seems as if it took the place of the Taco 100's... But even yet Toyota will sell these like hotcakes when buyers can't afford the real 5 lug Taco warrior...

Have not had any issues with mine as far as gas milage.:dunno:If anything,it has improved as I put the miles on it.

I know I gave up a little with the tire package but I was aware of that when I made that decision.

I know two people who own Tacomas. Both get over 20 mpg highway and both love the trucks. I know we have some here to claim superb mileage in their full sized trucks, but I never see better than 16 when I drive it like it's supposed to be driven.

Toyota is the number one mid sized truck by a mile in sales. They must be doing something right.

I'm still not quite sure what that Brianese post means?
