When my brake pads start to get low I will be replacing with new rotors (drilled-slotted some "fancy" crap:rolleyes:) and changing to Thermo Quiets. I was thinking of upgrading the calipers too. Adding stopping power to a heavy truck with big tires.

The Corvettes have those BADASS 4 piston stout calipers. Is there a specific year(s) that is compatable with my '02 Silverado? If so which year(s)?:dunno:

I'm REALLY not sure how broad of an interchangable range calipers have.

As always, thanks in advance.

I'd upgrade to discs all around if I didn't need to clear 16" wheels on the back :D2

And I can't do the Z06 conversion because I need to run 17" wheels up front

Ok, refresh my memory.... WHY are you running two different sized wheels, front & back? :wtf:

The Firestone Destination MT's were dirt cheap, and in a 16 inch... And since I'm not a 4x4 I don't need to run the same sized wheels front and back (even though, the Firestones are the same OD as the factory size )

I only run those for mud, and the occasional deep snowfall.

Ok..... So, you can't run smaller on the fronts and be even more of a cheap-ass. But, you can run smaller on the back. So, the cheap ass won out over "naaah, that just doesn't look right"...? :uhoh: :jester:
