Transfer Case goes 'poof'

Just got a call. Truck is done, and problem is gone.
Service Mgr. told me to get there before 6, wants to tell me the reason why this happened.
I BET he blames it on the tires and/or tune.
Which is fine, but a friend with an identical truck as far as tires and tune made it to 80k, very hard miles too. So, that theory might not be as valid in my case.
Anyone know if I can purchase an extended warranty? Or would they not allow me to? lol

Some people are also able to put 500HP reliably through a 4L60E for years, and others explode them with 300HP on the first day
It's hit and miss.
Take Dan with you and let him browbeat him into submission.
