I just did the lows. I doubt I will do the Hi-4 mod because, 1. The lows provide all the light I will probably ever need and... 2. It takes a few seconds for aftermarket HID's to reach full output.

The housings are the stockers but I want to get the TYC Elegantes to help with glare/cut-off. I'm using the VVME 35w 4300k HID kit.

I plan to aim the headlights down as much as possibly to avoid blinding people.
I would do the High-4 mod anyways. If you ever do turn on your highs (even by accident), the lows will take a few seconds to turn back on. I know what you are talking about as I have them (35w 5k lows, 55w 5k highs) in the TYC Elegante lenses. However, these lenses look the best, but do not help with the cut-off like a projector does. I went with them because they were said to be the best without going to a projector.

I know they are super bright now, but give them a few thousand miles and on/off cycles and they will dim; all HID's do; along with changing color slightly. I really like mine because the color output (to me at least) matches a standard halogen bulb pretty closely while still having more light output.

What did you pay for the kit? Any warranty? Where did you get it?
(only reason I ask is because I've got DDM kits and they no longer sell them; I'm looking for an alternative)

Oh, did you disable the DRL's?

$70 shipped for the kit with the relay harness. 1 year warranty. www.vvme.com. Oh, and the first thing I did was pull the fuse for the DRL's.

I also took some pics of the 20% tint on the front windows while I was waiting for my bro at the airport.
