It will for sure be a beast. Svensky might be in a bit of jeapordy of his "hemi-killer" title.

Another big turn off for the new SRT8 is they retain the same 5pd tranny....Seriously

Now what does concern hemikiller is the new porsche cayenne turbo. With that 8 speed transmission and 500hp it's clearning the quarter in like 12.2-12.4

That cant be right. Should be 11's

I know right! I wish I had more than 4 gears....hahaha

It took them a lot longer, but Jeep SRT8's are finally in the 9's for the 1/4 mile.

There are a bunch of 10 second ones, but it wasn't until recently a couple broke into the 9's. This one is the current fastest as far as anyone knows.

I only know because they come into tbssowners and talk shit.

That was still AWD which is pretty impressive. Are their any AWD TBSS's in the 9's? I thought they were all 2wd....

lol the front spline would shatter at that power. The AWD system on a tbss is a ghetto rig afterthought. after the front diff there is a spline that is filled with grease instead of fluid and it heats up and breaks.
