I was not in a good mindset at the time, and as soon as I slowed down I was like......"that was fWONking stupid Jeff!"

Been there ... done that... way too many times...
I am not quite as bad on doing it now, as I was when I was younger...
But still probably do it more than I should... :dunno:

Took my exhaust parts, seats, and front diff (all for the S10) to my grandma's. Later I need to work on my HID's....again! :frustration: I'm having a problem with the same side again. I'm hoping that the bulb has just been "shocked" so much from the first time the ballast went out. I think all the extra on/off cycles shortened the life-cycle. I have an extra bulb and ballast so I'll be troubleshooting later once the sun goes down.

had to pull a guy out of the mud today. road washed out of one of the trails and he tried to go around it. After he was out he had it caught in his breaks and they were squeaking real bad. ended up pulling the wheel off to clean them.

Well, since you asked.

The driver's side bulb is taking 3-5x longer to turn on than the pass. side. The pass. turns on just fine without a problem. The driver's side starts out extremely dim. The bulb starts out very dim and blue, warms up slowly, and eventually makes it's way to matching the pass side.

Last time, when the ballast was bad, the bulb saw a lot of extra/excessive on/off cycles. Finally, the bulb wouldn't even light up anymore. I tried the bulb on a different ballast (at that time) and the bulb was good so I send the ballast back for a replacement. I believe this has stressed the bulb and is hopefully the cause of my problems.

I'm still waiting for the sun to go down more before taking the front of my truck apart....again. The parking lights, grill, and driver's headlight have to come out.
