Once I finally get the HDs long drawn out stereo drama finished, I am really hoping to start on the Tahoe.

I need to ditch the AutoRide, and level the rear. I want to get a good set of shocks on there to improve the ride. Although the AutoRide still works, it isn't the best ride. Then put some 18s on it.

I would probably get into a lot more trouble with a train horn.:naughty:

An uncle of mine was going to put a so-called "marine" horn (this is how those loud air horns are popularly known) in his former Suzuki Vitara, but he sold it and maybe will install this horn in his Blazer (as an auxiliary horn instead of replace the original one).

BB tune, chrome rear bumper, some PDR work on the doors and bed, and maybe some new 18s. It's a lengthy list but I graduate in December so things will slowly start next spring. :zembonez:

[homer simpson voice] MMMMMmmmmmmm...Marine horn.....
Thanks. Thanks a lot. Another thing to add to my list.

I was thinking of this earlier:
Dont you love when something breaks or is slightly worn so you see it perfectly logical to replace with with something WAY better? for instance, i had a broken axle pivot bracket (TTB suspension in front) so i replaced it with a lift bracket :D

Have any stories of that?

So like, If I replaced exhaust mani gaskets but they still leak somewhere either against the head or into the collector pipe, might as well buy some shorty headers right?
I've been fighting this battle since I bought this truck anyways

I'd have to keep a truck long enough to break something for this to work.......maybe this time.

Shorty headers are a waste.

A replacement cast manifold will be a perfect fit and will last a lot longer.

I used to do workarounds using Coke cans tied with wire. But the replacemnt cast manifolds are better as a definitive solution.

ive heard pros and cons, but after a day of heavy researching, i ended up not getting them, for that reason. and the better ones cost too much for the benefit

Now the theme of my night is a new stereo deck. man do i despise my sony...
sorry, my add really shows when im thinking about the truck. haha
