Was attempting to put new brake pads on the rear yesterday, when I realized I don't have all the fugging tools required to do the job. :wtf?:
I'll put this off until another day. It's in need of new rotors. :frustration:

What happened to your tools??? :dunno:

I don't have a T55 torx that is needed to get the damn caliper loose. :wtf?: is wrong with GM. It's also a bitch to get a damn ratchet and shit in there, because it is so close to the leaf springs. I'm tempted to take this fugger to a buddy of mine and just pay him to do it. :dunno:

I will need new brakes on the Caddy before long...it has 102,000 and still has the original brakes.
I too am thinking of just paying to have it done...
but that pisses me off, because "I" know "HOW" to do it...I just no longer "WANT TO" do it. :dunno:

I agree....the want to do it part has left me a long time ago. This shit used to be simple, and actually fun to do. You needed an allen wrench, and a couple of standard size sockets to do the job. Now you have to have an assortment of tools to do this shit. :uhoh:

Heck, the way you drive, those pads are probably still brand new. :D2

You are probably right... I hardly ever get in a hurry or have to use the brakes much...
Just kinda idle it around most of the time... :dunno:

Vacuumed the carpet and did round 1 of shampoo-ing.

Found out the hard way never to use Resolve with my machine. Shit foams up like no other, fills the dirty water tank so fast that it gets into the overflow hole and spews out the bottom of the machine. :fume:

Yeah, but you don't use your brakes much.. :jester:

True...
When about all you ever do is just cruise along, in the left lane at 10 under the limit, with the left turn signal on... it's not too hard on the brakes... :dunno:
