Been busy with home stuff... you guys are usually good for helping with decisions like this. :)

I've had an issue with the FOA shock/resi's on the passenger side leaking hydraulic oil, so I've decided to go with a different brand. The owner was cool and offered to replace both with brand new, I am taking them up on the offer and will sell the lightly used ones and these two new ones in favor of either Edelbrock or FOX shocks though, don;t want to take any more chances.

I already have the Edelbrock shock/resi's in the rear I just installed a few weeks ago, so it would be good to have them match the rears. Only issue is, they're discontinued so the size/travel/style I'm looking is proving to be difficult to find.

My choices.

Edelbrock - Only ones I can find are the piggyback resi's which are nice cause there is no hose to deal with, looks cleaner, BUT the resi is on the front of the shock body. So this choice would give me a double barrel look (not mounted to the side like most and like what I have now)

See the front mounted piggyback resi in the pic below. (I would remove those clamps and put one billet clamp to match the rears.)

Would the front mounted resi's look weird, or cool cause it's different? I'm thinking weird :dunno:

FOX Shox - What most people have I'm sure you have all seen what they look like, the resi's would be mounted to the side of the shock body.

If I go with the FOX shocks, I have decided to remove the shock hoops and skidplate and recoat them in a blue to match the FOX sticker. The powder on the hoops didn't sure right, or it was bad powder cause it has chipped off rather easily in spots and they are starting to rust anyway. Plus, I'm tired of the hoops and skidplate disappearing on the truck, it's time for an accent color (sorry Tobias) and anyone else who doesn't approve lol) besides my wife likes the blue over any other color, and more specifically this color blue as it's not purple like some other blues. She thinks I would get tired of a candy orange and she hates red for some reason.

Don't know much about the shocks but I have had Fox on my sled and old dirt bikes and they were great. I would go with the fox.
