I don't think I've ever worn a glove in my life to keep from getting my hands dirty.

Hardcore. Period.

No, not that at all. I just can't stand gloves. Up until the last two winters, I never used to wear gloves to keep my hands warm. I just feel like I'm handcuffed with a pair of them on.

I don't like working in gloves either. But maybe I just haven't tried the right ones.

I use them to change the oil in the jetta because that black diesel oil. That crap doesn't come off.
If you ever want to ruin something just spill used diesel oil on it.

I have never used any glove made out of anything that wasn't either leather, latex or cotton.

I use Gorrilla gloves at work for oil changes at work.....and diesel oil is a pain to clean out of clothing.

I always use some type of barrier glove when using hard chemicals. I guess the whole MSDS stuff and OcHealth was just ingrained in me. Normal greases, petrol, diesel, and oils that we may run across fixing our trucks may not call for too much protection. But any substance can be caustic. Might as well be safe. One of the chemicals we work with is a Mil-Sec PD-680 dry cleaning solvent. It will eat thru just about any glove. And after working with it for a few minutes, you can taste the stuff. Not good at all. Protect, cover, double wrap.
