Blast them at work and shoot black paint on them.

Thats what I was thinking. We have high temp muffler paint I can use. I may just go with that. If it does not work I can get the ceramic coated.

Man, I have had zero luck with that plan. It always ends up looking like shit after the heat gets to it. Fuggin' bike headers get HOT

Granted, paint may be better these days, and I am sure my prep work as a 22 year old was not what it should have been.

If you can blast them, it worth a shot.

The ceramic coating is good to 1200 degrees. Thats the one thing that is swinging me towards that. I have not got a price on chrome because I thought the guy I got the ceramic quote from also did chrome. turns out he does not. I am working with the snap-on guy to sell an unused tool of mine. If that sells I will go for the coating.

Well I sold the tool on friday. The price I got decided the color. I am going to have the ceramic coated black. I think it will look good with dark blue paint and a black engine. I am going to send them out this week.

That should look pretty good if the bike paint is gonna be dark and most of the parts are gonna be painted dark.

WOrking on a set of handle bars. I have to get the bike painted and a tail fairing before I decide what to do with the seat. I am also going to PTM the chrome fenders.
