Removing stick on chrome door handles

Goo Gone from WalMart is cheaper.

And generally a waste of money... It took 2 bottles of the stuff to not quite get my truck debadged....

I agree with the Jim's ..3M AR is the only way to go! I just used it to removed the "Sierra" from the front doors of the GMC....took me 10 mins tops

Now I have a "Ghost Sierra" on the side....I gotta do some compounding!

Some more AR scrubbing is in order there :lo:

The shadow is long gone now...fine cutting compound took it right off!

I've never de-badged. Just taken off a few stickers and the like. Didn't know there was that much sealant under those things. We used wintergreen (type of a brake free) and heat guns for the sealing compounds and firewall sealant.

Here it is. Took me 20 minutes. And then i put some liquid wrench to get the worst of it off and then I put wax on it to make it shine.
