Well I have been contemplating getting a foam gun for a while now. I found one on Amazon that a lot of guys have used. Adam's used to use these as well but they have been outsourced to China. Sticking with there Made in the USA they stopped advertising using them.
Well anyways on to the pics and usage
After I recieved it
Comes in three separate pieces
It has different settings A-E
For the foam gun all it does is attaches directly to the hose, then the sprayer attaches to the quart container
I filled it up with 2 oz of Adam's Car Shampoo and then fill the rest up with water. That is roughly a 4:1 ratio (per Junkman)
And Also set up your two buckets for the two bucket wash
Then on to the foaming pics this was only on the C setting. I could not juggle a Nikon D80 and a foam gun so these are the best pics I can get.
The Machine Superwax puts such a layer of protection on the truck that I had a hard time getting pics of the foam because it would rush off pretty quick. The SVRT beads beautifully too!
The main purpose for a Foam gun is to put the suds on the paint and help lift some of the dirt off the paint. Your suds keep the paint clean and the dirt off of your paint and in your mitt. Not scratching in to your paint
Here is Adam talking about it:
