The pics aren't great, as the sun is setting, but here is what I have so far.
Put about 300 miles of pretty mixed driving, dash is showing 17ish mpg. thats with some full throttle stuff, highway stuff, and in town stuff. Salesman had one and he said about 600 miles it seemed to inprove a bit. The truck we test drove had 400ish miles and was getting about 20mpg.

Very nice!

I was amazed at all the features in the Nav unit on the Platinum I drove, looks like yours has the same one. Hope the truck serves you well for a good long time!

Very nice. What mileage did you get on the first tank?

Looks really nice!

It does seem like front license plates brackets are getting more and more awkwardly placed. So glad they don't require them in NM.

I noticed the EcoBoost I drove had the front plate mounted to the side like this one too, while the 5.0 had it mounted in the center of the bumper opening. I wonder if they really need that extra "open" area for airflow in the EcoBoost, or if it is just a way of differentiating them?:dunno:

Haven't emptied it yet, but the dash is reading a bit over 17, with some very mixed driving. City, highway, full throttle, back roads all that sort of thing.

Its placed where it is because the intercooler is right behind that opening. And required or not, im not sure what they put there. I took it off today and the bumper raw behind it. Not raw unpainted, just not something i'd leave uncovered, its ugly.

As I stated above, the intercooler is right behind the hole in the bumper. Its angled down, so is it "needed" that I don't know. But ford doesnt need to differentiate them, the badges and complete lack of noise from the truck does that.
