I was just curious how long did it take for you guys to find the truck you wanted?

I am looking for a 2008 Black Ford F150 Screw FX4 with a sunroof.

Where should I look online for used trucks? Other than craigslist,MSN or yahoo. Do you have any sites I should check out.

Thanks!

Jenny

I hope you find it! I spent a month looking, trying to take advantage of the incentives on the left over '09s. I finally settled on white. It was not the color I was looking for, at all, but had every other option I was wanting.

There are quite a few online resources for used trucks, hopefully one will pop up in an area that isn't too far out of reach for you.

I went to the dealer to look at Hyundai Sonata's and drove home with a truck. :dunno:

I spent about a month trying to find a RCSB with a V8 and all power. They are pretty hard to come by... PLUS I wanted a red one.

When I bought the truck I had, it was a bit of a journey to figure out what I wanted. Once I figured that part out, though, the process of finding it was pretty quick.. Then again, there weren't a lot of options to get or color choices for what I decided I wanted. So, I'm sure that made it quicker/easier.. At the end, though, it was just a few phone calls and a couple of visits to the dealer to test drive it, negotiate the deal, and get it done..

The road to get to that point, though, took a few weeks..

Not long for me. The transmission went out in my old pickup about 5 days before I was gonna head back to school (750 miles...kinda needed a truck asap). Took that truck to a trans shop, went to a couple of dealers, and found one in my budget. Brought it home that day. Its worked well for me for the past 6 years.
