What did you do to your truck today?

Hopefully I will get my painted bumper cap back today. It was supposed to be done Tuesday, but they got behind. Yesterday, their painter was out, so they had one of the other jokers try to paint it and he "had a few little runs in the clear, nothing to worry about, they would sand and repaint it". Supposedly the painter is back today and he is supposed to repaint it and get it done this morning.

I am pretty concerned about what I am going to find when I show up. I can tell you this, it better be perfect after the run around, or I am not paying them for it, especially since it is going on a brand new truck not some old beater.

Installed a 2" Top Gun Customz leveling kit this evening, and it looks much better. I still have around 1.5" difference front to rear, but it is not nearly as noticeable as before. I will get it aligned tomorrow, and it might settle out some, so I will measure again later.

The leveling kit was a major PITA to install, though! I will never do anything to that front end again without a spring compressor, although they say you don't need one.

I will try to get some pics up tomorrow, too dark when I got done tonight. Plus, I didn't make it in to get the bumper cover, so I will be picking that up tomorrow too.

Filled up the S10 today (only got 19mpg; gotta get my high idle fixed) before gas went up....again. We're up to $2.92 for Reg. WTF, gas is supposed to be going down this time of year.

Me to, but not because I wanted to. The job site I'm on is fwonked up. There's really no place to park, and they were digging another foundation right next to it. My truck is nasty. I'll have to try to wash it before I go to Pittsburgh, or I might get cited for truck cruelty.
