That's an awesome upgrade skid Mike! If you don't mind me asking (I'm in the market for new studs & backers too for my Arctic Cat F7), how much those studs run ya? Get them directly from Mack? Have you had any problems with singles pullin through? I think I may look at double-backers, not sure yet.

I highly recommend MACK, they have a bend or break warranty if any of the studs bend or break they will send you free replacements. The color on their backers wont flake off like many other brands. I got everything 168 studs and backers(only need 162 but had to order 168) nuts and washers, template and drill for around $330. I ordered from a yamaha site vender www.richmotorsports.com but you can order directly from mack. It was actually cheaper through rich for some reason. Ive never ran doubles on any sled im sure they would be a lot better. Im going to be changing my track next year to 144 so i might change it up with some doubles then. The only time ive ever had pullouts was on my old mxz 800X but it had 8000 miles on the studs and track and it had 192 studs.

I finally installed the expert X in my 05 Warrior today. I've had this skid sitting in my garage since march when I started modding, kinda been dreading this project but it wasnt to bad just measured 2-3 times and made sure both sides where the same. i have to take it back out to adjust it its still setup from when the previous owner had it on his turbo drag sled. Plus I need to finish studding the track so it will just be easier. I should have the skid back in and all set, the track studded and my seat finally back on next week. No more time to work on it now im heading back to work tomorrow for 4 days(6 hours away)

Cant wait for this thing to be done so I can start to mod the hell out of the truck:thumbs:

anyways heres some pics

Oh yeah I put yellow ski loops on the C&A's too

They tell me the seat will be done next week, hopefully thats true its been 3 weeks now I know that is going to really make the sled complete.

I think I'd, wait, I know I'd kill myself on one of those things.

Looks like you're putting a lot of time into this. Looks sharp.
