Hmm, The guy told me the pulley on the 145 was smaller, therefore I'd need a shorter belt, but I measured the pulley on the 145 and my 105 and they are the same.

So you are saying that the case is bigger, which would put the pulley higher than the stock 105A, and that is why it needs a longer belt? You dont think the tensioner would just pull in a bit more to let the current belt fit?

Or does the pulley sit a lot higher?

It's a little bit bigger in diameter which makes the alt pulley sit higher. Yes, you can max out the tensioner and force her on there, but I wouldn't.

Any suggestions of what belt to run? I guess I could asl the guy I got the alt from lol, it was another guy who told me the pulley was smaller

What application did the Delphi 145A alt come off of? The HD or something?

There's one for the 105 amp and one for a 135 or so amp, get the 135 one. Vehicles with electric fans.

Changed the oil, 6 quarts of Motorcraft 10w-30 and a Motorcraft oil filter!
