I keep seeing that new sig pic and I have a question for you, Tobias.. Are you keeping the luggage rack?

Whats wrong with it>?

To me, if you're not going to use it, get rid of it and clean-up the lines of the vehicle. I've always thought roof racks were ugly.. I've seen Sierras with roof racks and I just shake my head in a mixture of disbelief and disgust... "Put it in the bed, not on the ROOF!"

I've actually used the roof rack on my Suburban a good bit. Being that I don't have a bed (like a truck), I've tied long objects to the roof such as ladders, pvc pipe , lumber, etc. I've even strapped 3 sheets of 4x8 plywood up there with no problem.

Please re-read the first part of what I said, above...

So Daddy, any ideas on wheels yet?

Only general guidelines. I am thinking of something a bit more full-faced with less of a lip than I had on the Sierra. I have always liked a nice full-faced 20-inch wheel. I don't mean just a solid plate of chrome, just not a huge, deep lip is all. I love the clean looks of the GMT800 Denali wheels. That's the sort of style is what I am going for this time.

Offset is king on GMT800s. A deep lip can stick a wheel WAY out beyond the fender.

These (with a lip) look excellent on white GMT800s.

Nice Tahoe...it seems like you bought it right too. Where did you find it at?

Thanks!

I found it at a dealer but one of my best friends is good friends with the dealer's finance guy. It was listed at $11,999 but I got it for $9500 without even the first bit of haggling. I was okay with the price.

It's still a 2001 but aside from the Zack Morris OnStar antenna, you'd never know. It's very clean. No dings, dents, major paint problems, etc.

Maybe. That'll probably be one of the last thing I mess with. It's annoying but I can deal with it until I am done spending money everywhere else. :D
