Ha. I found a VERY clean 2001 Tahoe. VERY clean. I am rather particular so trust me when I say VERY clean. One of my best friends also happens to be great friend's with the lot's finance guy. :D

It's an LT so everything is already color-matched or chrome and all of the badges are easily removed. I'll have a bow tie for the first time in my life but oh well.

Sweet. I have that same one in Pewter. In 60K it has only had an EGR valve. Still rollin' the original brakes.
The autoride pump is a bit noisy now at start up, but that is it. She has been a great rig!

Resist the call of the Fleetantor!

It's not my favorite color but it's in better shape than any '03, '04 or '05 I have looked at. Whoever had it took great care of it. I looked at an '04 Z71 'Burb today that was private party and described as "Better than good condition", holy hell. I wanted to ask for the gas money I wasted driving out to see it. What a douche.

People absolutely abuse their vehicles. It's amazing.

This one has 94 but that's pretty good considering the age.

If I pull the trigger tomorrow I'm gonna go with some new shocks and brakes all around as well as a good tune-up and fluids swap and then Jenna's gonna be gettin' a call. :D

Thanks. It's just what I need right now. My dogs are going to be in heaven.

I'm planning to pay it off by next spring and then buy myself a travel trailer. That way I can spend more time at the lake with my boat. Right now I have to drive 2 hours for one day of boating. With the TT I'll be a Friday afternoon through Sunday kind of guy.
