i have a 1990 dakota 4x4 sport and putting jeep dana 30 and dana 35 underneath it, 4 inch lift leafs all off YJ, then putting 31x10.5x15 Timberline M/T's, i heard thats all the bigger you want for stress on these axles, not going to beat real hard on this mostly for a fun project and to go back to our cabin in the woods. wondering if any one had pics or tips on doin it. got all the tools for it in our shop just a matter of getting it in ther to work on it.

I know on fullsizebronco.com they have a huge section on how to do it to broncos but I've seen them go on pirate4x4.com to see how guys do it on other trucks, have you tried looking there?

Yup pretty much it. Just double check the drive line angles on the drive shaft, and check the brake lines, that they aren't being stressed.

I want to do a SAS on my 98 Dakota but I want 3/4 ton axles. Does your truck not clear 31's already? I run 31x10.5 R15s but want to go to 33s.

Oh and thats a pretty stout looking bumper too!
