MPG.... Before and After

I had already installed my cat backs, but I was expecting My Volant CAI to be in soon, so I decided to do a MPG check before and after the install

NOTE: I am in no way shape or form saying that these results are precise, or 100% accurate. I just did it the best way I knew how.

I filled the tank (used same store for both tests)
I reset everything in the DIC
Then I drove the same route everyday for both tests.
I drove the speed limit. If it was 30, I drove 30. If it was 55, I drove 55.

That was the best way that I could figure to keep the tests as even as possible

Yep, but to be honest, I'm more happy with the new engine sound than I am with the MPG

Dang, you were getting pretty good mileage to begin with. I got 20mpg...once on the highway, usually get 18. Currently the DIC says 12.2 I have a CAI on my list of future mods, still have yet to decide which one. I'm leaning towards the GMPP.

Mine usually shows around 13-15 ..... My favorite gear is the passing gear

I call it the floor gear!

I tend to think of it as the "fun" gear.

Especially after the BB tune.

I have to be a really really good boy to get 18-19 MPG in mine. Since that is the case, I rarely get more than 16 per tank these days.

Good deal with the 1.5 MPG increase!
