I have 5000K and like them much better than my 6000K's I had in the Sierra. I don't think I would go with 4300K, ever. These are perfect, IMO.

If I ever get HID's, it'll be 5k. I can't stand the people who get the ones that are 8k and above :nonod:

I believe OEM uses 4300k, that's why I mentioned it, but maybe 5000k is the way to go :dunno:

I have to agree with T on this one.. I think the 5000K HID's are the perfect temperature.. Not too yellow, like the 4300K's. Not too blue, like the 6000K's. Just lots of pure white light.

I've read that too about 4300K being what comes stock in cars. But, to my eye, the aftermarket 4300K lights I've seen look more yellow than what I remember my Acura's stock HID's being. That's why I decided to go with something in the 5000K range.

Don't forget, your lights WILL color shift.... Basically your 5000s will shift to 6000 and so on... Your 4300s will eventually turn into 5000s.

Anything higher is just blinding traffic, and hurting your eyes.

And you WILL want to make sure your low beams to NOT turn off when you turn your highs on... Otherwise you'll be blind for a few seconds whenever you turn your highs off.
