I'll definitely be going black out. I kind of hate to pull off the tires, but I really just think they're too big for my use, plus I couldn't stand driving around without the odometer recalibrated (I know, stupid excuse). They've got enough life that I think they're worth keeping and putting on my current wheels after all, though. So, here they are, ready to be mounted on my mom's minivan! :jester:

Those will look great, just make sure to have them balanced without the adhesive tape weights.

Lip weights = :fail:

I'm taking them to my neighbor's shop and they won't do that unless there's no lip (they do have a lip on the backside). He might even make me do it, but I'm going to try to drop off my truck and flee town so I can pay him for once! I've got to get an alignment, as well.

Well I got some pictures of them installed! I think I'm satisfied! I'll have to get some pictures with an actual digital camera soon.

They do need a little work, though:

The bolts for the center caps are either missing, or rusted, or even more rusted and the wrong bolts. Apparently GM cheaped out on those bolts, but I think I've found a source for some stainless ones, albeit all the way in the U.K. :uhoh:

There are also supposed to be lug nut covers, of which the guy only had half, and four of them too ugly/damaged to use. Now, these little fuggers, these cheap, chrome-covered, plastic lug nut covers, cost a mere $5.45 a piece on GMPartsDirect.com (the cheapest I could find them). :willy: That totals out to $105.51 after shipping for the sixteen I need, or my neighbor said he could get them at $6.66 for a total of $106.56. Needless to say, screw that BS! :fingertime:

Example of little fugger:

So, I've decided to get some REAL chrome lug nuts and save myself a month's fuel cost and some change. I'm trying to find some that look the most similar to the fuggers. :D Here are the ones I'm looking at:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360210298490&_trksid=p2759.l1259 (Most preferred but I've got to talk the guy into selling me 24)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...akeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en (Fairly similar look and theft-deterrent, but much more expensive and very long)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/24-C...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories (A little bit shorter and odd-looking; last resort)

Now just imagine how good it would look with the white letters out! Then again white letter tires (solid>outlined) are always the first thing people in my family buys for trucks. Mine are just outlined though.
