Ford F-150, 7 bolts?

This truck was parked next to my Escalade. What caught my eye was the cover. F-150s come in 7 bolt patterns too?

Yeah, that body style with the "heavy duty" package came with 7 lugs. Oddball pattern for sure. :cheers:

Thats ford trying to limit your options. Making owners go back to Ford to get wheels if you bend one. Probably odd size wheel studs to.

Yeah James is right, its the 7700. That was supposed to be thier version of the heavy half. :fail: if you ask me.

Yeah...because it STILL had the anemic 5.4. At least GM gave you the 6.0.

It should say F-250 on the side BTW...

Not really any more unusual than 5 bolts. It's just what Ford chose to use.

4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - and even 10 bolt patterns have been used. I've even seen some 3 bolt wheels on some old French cars.
