The Trailblazers are good from what I have heard. A ton of them around here and my friends has 325k on it. But now sits because the tranny went out. He never changed the fluid so that was on him. But the engine ran great and never used oil and he has had is since new and just the usual wear items like brakes and water pump and such on it.

As for the Acadia, I would stay away from anything older than 2011. Our 07 was good except that it beat the oil up so I didn't go past 5k oil changes. We traded it in on our 2011 Acaida with 80k miles because it started having electrical issues where the whole dash would black out and it wouldn't start on the turn of the key. As in if you are familiar with GM's newer vehicles, you just bump the key and it will continue to crank on it's own until it starts. Well that wasn't working every so often and was getting worse.

Now our 2011 was great other than beating up the oil so I just changed it out at 5k. It had 93k on it when we traded it in on the Suburban. Never used oil and ran like a top.

The thing is to find a good used one of these vehicles that you can tell it was taken care of. The 3.6's in the Lambda platform Acadia's and such, if the oil wasn't changed like it was supposed to it would really sludge up the inside the engine, especially if they didn't run a synthetic.

Again the Trailblazer and Envoy are good vehicles from what I can tell. At least for as many as I see on the roads around here. Hope this helps.
