Been looking around and went up to Albuquerque to check some out Friday and brought one home. I was originally set on a Canyon but after driving the Frontier I really liked it. While the Canyon felt really nice, smooth, and quiet I liked that the Frontier felt like a truck and really solid. Not to mention it was quite a bit cheaper. Got the dealer down to invoice after walking out the door and chased me down after deciding to play ball on this.

2015 Nissan Frontier Pro-4X CC 4x4.
Exterior: Fancy name for grey
Interior: Fancy name for black
4.0 V6/5 speed auto

Impressions so far:
*The 4.0 is definitely a torquey engine and gets off the line well
*Most of the interior looks and feels like the ten year old design it is but this thing feels extremely solid. No creaks, pops, rattles, nothing. A transition between a road and bridge in town is a decent bump and has caused at least a pop in the dash in every vehicle I've been in driving over it, even brand new off the lot. This thing? Nothing.
*The factory Rockford Fosgate system in this blows the Bose in the 'Hoe out of the water
*The back seat is pretty tight
*The fuel mileage sucks (about the same as the 'Hoe despite being down 1,000lbs and 2 cylinder but if I was concerned about mileage I wouldn't have bought a 4x4 truck.
*Definitely no Tahoe out on the road but not bad for a smaller truck with an off-road suspension and A/T tires.
*Touch screen faster than the Tahoe's and it has functional voice commands
*For some reason it has to index my iPod every ignition cycle but plays fine while it's indexing
*This allows bluetooth audio streaming with App support, unlike the Hoe and I tried Pandora and immediately switched back to my iPod due to sound quality.

Mods:
*Will get the windows tinted next week
*Already ordered WeatherTech floor liners.

Overall I really like it and think it's going to be great for what I got it for. Driving to work and fun weekend activities. It'll make it down the beat up dirt and rutted roads to the river perfectly. Road trips and toting people around? Probably not so much, but that's what the Tahoe is for.

Forgot a mod. For some reason Nissan doesn't put hitches from the factory on many (if any) Frontiers so I ordered the OEM hitch from a dealer selling shit online. Everything is predrilled and has nuts welded into the frame already and prewired. Should be a 30 minute job. :fingersx:

Congrats!

LS swap? :jester:

Maybe later down the road, but last I checked VQ V6s last a while.
